Best CrossFit Shoes For Women – Our Top Picks
#1. Reebok Nano 3.0
The Reebok Nano 3.0 has all the qualities of a quality CrossFit shoe: comfortable, lightweight, durable, flexible, and extremely versatile. The Nano 3.0s will work with just about any of your WODs. They have great grip for rope climbs and burpees, are light for box jumps and double unders, and stable to perform cleans, jerks, and squats.
These shoes are definitely minimalist, but do offer some heel support with a 4mm drop. They also have a wide toe box, so these are ideal shoes for those that have wider feet and find it hard to wear more narrow shoes. If you are looking for a sturdy pair of CrossFit shoes that you can use everyday whether in the gym or outside, the Nano 3.0s are a great selection. Just make sure you don’t make the boys TOO jealous.
#2. Inov-8 F-Lite 195
Inov-8 is known to produce quality shoes for CrossFit for both men and women. The F-Lite 195s are another excellent pair of shoes that many CrossFitters use due to its overall makeup and versatility. With a 3mm drop, these shoes mimic being barefoot, but do still provide an ample amount of support if that is what you are looking for. These shoes work with just about all CrossFit workouts, but they can also be used for short to medium length runs. The F-Lite 195s are composed of a very light, breathable, mesh upper material, which makes wearing the shoes very comfortable and easy.
The RopeTec feature provides heightened protection for rope climbing without wearing down your shoes. These shoes are narrow and form-fitting. So, if you are someone with wider feet, you may want to consider other options like the Nanos or NB Minimus Wx20v3.
Many CrossFitters turn to Inov-8s and never look back, and you might be in that same boat after trying out a pair of the F-Lite 195s.
#3. New Balance Women’s Minimus WX20v3
The NB Minimus WX20v3s are one of the most affordable and quality CrossFit shoes for women currently on the market. Running at around $70, these shoes are ideal for all aspects of your CrossFit training. Like the Nanos, the Minimus WX20v3s have a wide toe-box that allows for flexibility and for your toes to breathe. With a 4mm heel-to-toe-drop, these shoes are perfect for women who are flat-footed or who want to transition to a barefoot type shoe. They are also extremely light at only 6 oz, so you really won’t feel weighed down by these shoes during activities like box jumps or burpees.
The design of the shoes is what caught our attention first: they come in various flashy colors and have a sleek look to them. If you want to stand out for your look and your performance in the gym, grab a pair of these affordable and highly effective CrossFit shoes.
#4. Inov-8 F-Lite 240 Shoe
The F-Lite 240s made our list of best CrossFit shoes for men AND women, so what do you think that says about these shoes? Exactly, they are awesome. The 240s have a 6mm heel-to-toe drop, which is greater than the 3mm of the F-Lite 195s. But they are just as solid and a top-of-the-line pair of shoes for women CrossFitters. As with the 195s, these shoes are flexible, lightweight, and extremely durable.
People have noted that they tend to run slightly bigger, so consider getting a half size lower than normal to compensate. As far as comfort goes, we’ve noticed along with thousands of other Crossfitters that Inov-8s are consistently the most comfortable shoes out there.
Other than that, there really isn’t much more to say about these awesome CrossFit shoes from Inov-8 other than to go grab a pair and see what you’ve been missing out on.
